RADAR LIVE VICTIM DETECTOR

The search for survivors beneath the rubble becomes a priority in post-disaster response. Detection technology to support the search for survivors is crucial to expedite search and rescue efforts. The LIVE Victim radar is an innovation addressing this need. This handheld device was developed by a research team from Telkom University in Collaboration with PT.Radar Telekomunikasi indonesia to detect survivors behind debris and supported through the matchin.

BACKGROUND PROBLEM

Indonesia is also situated in the pacific ring of fire. This situation increases the vulnerability to earthquakes. Developed to meet the need for efficient survivor detection in post-disaster situations, especially after earthquakes. This device's ability to penetrate rubble and detec survivors holds great potential to enhance rescue efforts, making it an essential tool for disaster response teams.

By detecting survivors under rubble quickly, the device speeds up search and rescue efforts, potentially saving more lives.

TOP FEATURES

Data Analysis and Prediction: FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) radar Technology: Enables the detection of victims buried beneath rubble with high accuracy. Rubble penetration: capable of detecting victims up to 1.5 meters below debris. 4x4 Antenna Array: Provides a wider radar signal coverage with a 20 detection angle, enhancing effectiveness in large areas. Data processing unit: Equipped with an intel celeron 2.00 Ghz processor for fast and efficient radar data analysis. 7-Inch Touchscreen display: Offers an easy-to-use user interface for real-time display of detection results. Lithium battery: Powered by a 12V-10Ah lithium battery, ensuring long-lasting operation in the field.These features allow the radar live victim detector to efficiently detect survivors in disaster situations [36 source].
