Autonomous Underwater Robot for AI-Based Search and Rescue
TECH_SAS is an autonomous underwater robot designed to support search and rescue (SAR) missions. The robot is equipped with AI technology to detect objects, map the underwater environment with the SLAM algorithm, and features a marker buoy and gripper for object retrieval.
Background Problem
Challenge: The difficulty of humans exploring the water depths for data collection, research or SAR. Solution: An autonomous robot capable of reducing risk and increasing the effectiveness of underwater operations.
