Farmers can monitor crop fertility conditions
Research collaboration between Telkom University and Farmer groups in Jumapolo Hamlet, Karanganyar, Central Java and has resulted in Rispro LPDP research cooperation. Si Soil is a tool integrated with applications and connected to the Internet of Things, capable of providing information related to soil nutrient content. The soil nutrients that can be seen through Si Soil are Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), and Potassium (K) or commonly referred to as NPK. In addition to knowing the NPK elements, Si Soil is also able to provide information related to the degree of acidity (pH) and the level of soil moisture.
background problem
The Smart Farmer's Companion: Indonesian farmers' lack of understanding of the value of soil nutrient content and soil moisture conditions that are good for soybean plants results in the fertilization process still being carried out conventionally. For this reason, Si Soil is here to provide answers to the problems of fertilization efficiency and crop productivity of farmers.
BENEFITS
Farmers can monitor crop fertility conditions from anywhere and at any time, and can find out the dosage and timing of fertilization according to what the crop needs.
TOP features
Nutrient Content Sensor: Si Soil is equipped with sensors capable of measuring the content of soil nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. This information is important for determining the type and amount of fertilizer required for a particular crop.
